General information, not legal advice
The pages here describe how disability claims usually work. They're general information, not legal advice about your situation. Rules and deadlines change, and your claim has its own facts. Don't rely on this site to decide what to do about a deadline: call a lawyer.
No attorney-client relationship yet
Calling, emailing or sending the form here doesn't make you a client. That relationship begins only when you and Noreen Overcash both sign a written fee agreement. Until then, what you tell the office may not be protected.
Past results and examples
The worked examples and figures on this site are invented to show how rules apply. They aren't results for any client, and they don't predict the outcome of any other claim. Every claim turns on its own facts.
What clients say
Client comments are shared with permission. Each claim is different, and another person's experience doesn't mean yours will go the same way.
Please don't send confidential details
Messages sent through this site aren't secure, and they aren't confidential until you're a client. Please don't send medical records, your Social Security number or other private information through the form.
Fees
Fees in Social Security cases are set by law and paid from back pay. VA claims follow their own rules, and the fee is set out in the written agreement before work begins. Costs, like fees for medical records, are separate from the fee.
