Noreen Overcash
Attorney
This office handles disability claims and nothing else.
Disability work found me before I found it. Growing up in Cumberland County, I knew families who waited a year for an answer from an agency, and I knew how much a letter could change a month. By the time I was a law clerk, I knew what I wanted to do with the license.
I keep my caseload small enough to know every client by voice. I'm accredited to represent veterans before the VA, and I'm admitted to practice before Social Security. I read every record, return my own calls, and tell people the truth about their odds, even when it isn't what they hoped to hear.
Outside the office I garden badly, walk the greenway when my knees allow, and keep a jar of pencils on my desk for reading files.
